Down to Three

No surprises tonight.

Well, that's not true - there was one - David Archuleta messed up the group sing by not starting on time. His father is going to be pissed. I bet you anything he gets a time out. Personally, I think it should be grounds for elimination.

But it was Jason who was sent packing. He handled it like a pro; no tears, no sobs, no regrets. In fact, his smile was bigger than ever when he congratulated Syesha. I think he was relieved to be going home. And to be honest with you, I'm kind of envious that he is done. I've just about had my fill of Idol this season.

I'm starting to sound like a broken record. How many times can I comment on Paula's state of mental health and Archuleta's inability to speak a coherent sentence? It's all getting very old. And these elimination nights are especially painful. Those viewer questions? Enough said. I don't think my finger ever really left the fast forward button. I need some new material and I don't think I'm going to get it from these clowns.

It's all going to come down to a David face off. Let's just cut to the chase and spare us the shenanigans...

Your Archie "time out" observation had me ROTFLOL....too true. It may have been boring, but at least we weren't shocked with Cook's exit a la Daughtry! Phew! Jason is better off away from 19 Entertainment.....

Love the email distribution and the blog! I hope Ryan stays ... he's the hardest worker in show business.

Ms Reid,

I know you are in mourning over your vacuum-headed favorite being eliminated, but Thank God the Muppet man is finally gone. This was a LONG time in coming. Even the googly-eyed women who kept this "Jar Jar Binks" clone in the competition this long couldn't save him after his latest disaster.

I am now firmly in the Syesha camp. SHe has gotten more entertaining and personable...and was downright SEXY this week.

David Cook was below average. His first song was awful...Duran Duran???? Come on...he can do better than that. And his version of Baba O'Reilly was not energetic and lacked the rock edge that is inherent in the original.

Alfred E. Newman (Archuleta) was boring once again, but has the best voice of all. I am tired of his "aw shucks" attitude though so I am rooting against him.
